Metroid is, indeed, a great series of platforming shooter fun, particularly the 2D games for me. 
But I have to wonder to myself... Just why Nintendo is not bothered to work on and reveal an outstanding dream remake of Super Metroid? 
Let's be honest, that game deserves upgraded graphics and sound, as well as having new content packed into the game like boss attack, for total awesomeness.
